Schedule of events:

Thursday, June 11, 2009:

No official events. Registration will be open from 3pm to 7pm in the foyer outside main ballrooms of the Saint Paul Hotel.

The lobby and the lobby bar of the Saint Paul Hotel will act as our informal gathering spot this evening and at other times apart from scheduled activities. Feasts of Reason and Flow of Soul are encouraged but not required.

Friday, June 12, 2009:

Breakfast will be on your own. A list of options is here.

Registration will be open from 9am - 6pm in the foyer outside main ballrooms of the Saint Paul Hotel.

Rummage Sale - open from 9am - 6pm in the registration area. Proceeds from the sale will benefit The Wodehouse Society Convention Fund.

Cricket Experience*, 2pm - 5pm - at nearby Harriet Island, a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

Other, optional events

'Birding' walk - an early morning walk to observe and learn about some of the winged chappies in this area. Contact Bonnie Sample for more information.

Self-guided walking tour of F Scott Fitzgerald's Saint Paul - click here for a map (pdf).

Rare Wodehouse magazines exhibit at the University of Minnesota, Wilson Library TR Anderson Gallery (4th Floor), open 9am - 4:30pm. [link]

Cocktails, 6pm-7pm.

Dinner, 7pm - 10pm - Ballroom 1, Saint Paul Hotel.

Musical entertainment by Maria Jette and Daniel Chouinard.

Nightcap in the lobby bar for the robust amongst the group.

Saturday, June 13, 2009:

Breakfast - on your own. A list of options is here.

Riveting Talks* (9am - 4pm, Ballroom 1, Saint Paul Hotel) - There will be a mid-morning break with refreshments. There will also be a break for lunch giving you an opportunity to sample some nearby restaurants (in other words, you're on your own for lunch, too). A list of nearby meal options is here. The afternoon will be filled with more Riveting Talks, a sketch from the Chicago Accident Syndicate, and the Dread Business Meeting capped with an Afternoon Tea.

The Senior Bloodstain of The Clients of Adrian Mulliner, the Wodehouse/Sherlock Holmes cross-over group will meet from 4:30-5:30.

Evening Festivities*

Banquet, Costume Contest, and Riverboat Cruise. (REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT)

6:30pm-10:00pm, starting from the nearby Harriet Island.

Sunday, June 14, 2009:

Brunch (REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT)* (9:00am-11:00am, Ballroom 1, Saint Paul Hotel) complete with Raffle and Northwodes Dramatic Reading.

Tearful Farewells.

Afternoon at the Races* - Join us for an afternoon enjoying the sport of kings at Canterbury Downs (transportation will be provided).
